rubyhereiam asked: i'm jealous of how much better at things you are then me. unfair.
Stop it.
These are some forgotten photos taken with the Super Fat Lens camera (yellow version). Taken at Disneyworld in April 2010. Barely any editing since you can clearly see dust and mysterious black bits.
So, I’ve been borrowing this camera from my friend Rachel for a few years and have only recently gotten around to 1) developing the roll that came in it and 2) actually using it. The photos here I took a few years ago and were forgotten about. Apparently you can’t even get Fuji 800 speed film anymore, which is pretty tragic because it really is great. Anyway I was pretty impressed with the image quality for what is basically a point-and-shoot. These have little to no editing, just some cropping and a little deepening of the blacks. I’ve got some more on the way.
This drawing (11x14 inches) is currently up at Paper Crown Gallery, which is right outside of Chicago. I haven’t spent this much time on one piece in quite some time, and it felt pretty good.
Hey Buffalo people! If you’re free on Friday night please consider stopping by 581 Richmond for an attic art show! If you like me you’ve probably seen the stuff that I’m showing, but there will be a bunch more artists and the space is really neat. Thanks!
barryfancher asked: Hi! Cute drawings. I was wondering how you stored your art supplies and kept them organized. I've been having an organization problem lately. ): Thank you!
Hi, you asked me this a million years ago and I was too ashamed to give the real answer. I do have a nice cube of 4 drawers that I keep pens / pencils / paint / ink in. Coffee cans hold my markers by color temperature, and bottles and jars hold other pens and brushes. Everything else is just stacked and thrown around. I really want to find a woooden flat file to hold paper and finished work.
